Telephone Intervention

The information collected during an intervention is that provided by the user of our services.

All telephone services of the Centre de Prévention du Suicide de Montréal (CPSM) are confidential. CPSM records the telephone calls of our users for purposes of customer service quality, dispute resolution, training, or staff development. These recordings involve the collection of personal information, which is handled appropriately from collection through to disposal.

CPSM complies with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) when recording calls, whether incoming or outgoing. This federal privacy law applicable to the private sector establishes basic rules for how organizations must handle personal information in the course of their commercial activities.

Who can access to your personal information?

Within CPSM, only a few authorized individuals may access the personal information you provide to us.

All service providers with whom we work are subject to privacy laws.
