Who is this training for ?

This workshop is designed to help caseworkers further develop their intervention skills, sharpen their clinical judgment, and answer specific questions about suicide and their practice.

Training goals

  • A look back at the main concepts covered in the training course Intervening with suicidal people using best practices.
  • Role-playing, reflection and in-depth discussion of emotional and clinical issues.
  • Clinical situations should preferably come from the customer and be provided prior to training. If necessary, the SPCM will provide clinical cases.

Duration : 3,5 hours

Prerequisite : Must have completed Intervening with suicidal people using best practices training more than 6 months ago

  • The minimum number of participants is 6, with a maximum of 12, depending on the workshop objectives
  • A certificate of attendance is issued upon completion of the entire course.
